Abstract: Based on research of the related references about the music temperament and diantong, ancient Chinese official in charge of tuning instrument, the author punctuated Zhu Zaiyu’s Yuexue Xinshuo, tried to derive the resonable connotation of the work, sum up and organized that the family relationships associated with liulv and liutong, sound of huangzhong corresponded the natural principle，the relation between the length of huangzhong and vertical-horizontal shu (panicum miliaceum, about 9 cun length), and proposed own academci opinion about non-original stand of huangzhong 9 cun.
